Acquisition scenario, we had to migrate the Microsoft 365 services from one tenant to other keeping the same domain name. Our proven project methodology was followed, proper planning and testing was done. There was a challenge of all systems being part of Azure AD domain and encrypted with bitlocker. The goal was to make it easy for users to move to new Azure AD Tenant. With proper planning, rigorous testing, choice of right migration tools and effective communication, we were able to achieve this to client satisfaction.

Our client is a leading fintech provider based in Tokyo, Japan. They have been using AWS for their product; however, workplace services were still legacy and hosted as colocation. They have been using Exchange online just for mailboxes with different email gateways for email filtering. The business requirement was to plan and design a modern workplace environment that is secure, compliant, and removes the dependency on colocation infra and legacy services. A new AD DS environment was hosted on AWS, File Services migrated to AWS FSx, Emails migrated to a new Microsoft 365 tenant with all features including Azure AD conditional Access, DLP, Intune for OS and Application deployment, Windows Information Protection, and Azure Information Protection. All users migrated to a new tenant with SSO, all computers redeployed using Windows AutoPilot with the confidence of data security and compliance.

There are many use cases of using Desktop as a Service from cloud. Our recent implementation was for a startup with about 12 users. We see a lot of demand from businesses looking for a solution to protect their business data which is on the end-user devices. Our recent implementation was to achieve this for an SMB looking to classify and protect the business data. We Implemented the security solutions offered by Microsoft which included Azure AD premium, Azure Information Protection (AIP) and Intune. All systems were joined to Azure AD using Hybrid AD join and enrolled into Intune. Conational access was implemented to allow access only from hybrid domain-joined machines, sensitivity labels and policies were set up and Windows Information Protection (WIP) was deployed. The result was managed devices with data protection. Users can’t share business data outside unless justified.

With the change of business dynamics there a lot of cases where we need to perform tenant to tenant migrations. This can include mergers, acquisitions or divestitures. Being experts in Microsoft 365 migrations, we recently were awarded a project to migrate services (Exchange Online, One Drive for Business, SharePoint Online and Teams) from one tenant to another. We did careful planning and performed extensive testing with our proven methodology and tools, which includes information baseline, followed by a runbook and test cases list. A lot of potential issues were identified in the testing phase and mitigation was planned. Communication is key to the success of any migration project. Regular calls with stakeholders, advanced communication to users about upcoming changes, manuals and
guides to assist them after switchover helped us to overcome the challenges of migration. This is super important now as all users work remotely. Our client is entering an outsourcing business and was looking for a partner to advise & implement a secure working environment for the staff that will meet the security and compliance requirements of the client. In a recent requirement, our customer wanted to automate offboarding and handover process. Being a Microsoft 365 customer, they wanted to do something with the tools and services provided by Microsoft 365 without third party software or software development due to inherent security and cost benefits. Our recent project was to evaluate and migrate Oracle based ERP for a manufacturer to Azure Cloud. Assessment of existing environment was done, business requirements evaluated, and the migration of Open Source based ERP was planned. ERP system is live now on Microsoft Azure and users can access it from anywhere with increased performance and availability. The public cloud is powerful and it made difficult scenarios very easy. AWS is the leading cloud provider and we got the opportunity to host a website to support the mega-scale event, wherein millions of users will log in within a span of minutes. We utilized AWS Autoscale group and application load balancers with RDS to support this kind of scale. This would have been so difficult and costly to achieve without Public Cloud. With Pay as you Gothe cost was very less and we achieved desired performance with an excellent experience. Mismo Systems have experience in hosting enterprises applications. Our client is a service provider to regulated industries across the world. They need to ensure that the IT systems are compliant with the regulations their customers must follow. To enable hybrid working model, they were looking for a solution that can give the flexibility without compromising the security & compliance. Mismo Systems team suggested and build the solution on AWS using Amazon Workspaces. AWS Workspaces is a virtual desktop solution running on AWS. You can provision the desktops you need and pay as you go. The AWS environment was integrated with on premises ADDS for identity management and internet traffic was routed via on premises Firewall to take advantage of configurations (policies and c connectivity with client systems) already in place.
